PMD’s love for house music derived from the very first time he went clubbing in Escape Swansea. An experience never forgotten, an excited 18 year old paid at the door, walked up those metal stairs, turned right into Room 2 and the rest is history. He remembers dancing twice to The Black legend Track – You See the Trouble With Me that night and also got down and dirty to Electric Avenue by Eddy Grant. By the end of the night, PMD was well and truly hooked on Funky House (as it was called then).

 

PMD lived in Ibiza for 2 years 2004 and 2005 where he meet his wife KMD, they partied to all different types of Dance Music, but gravitated to things Like Hed Kandi, Garlands , Judgement Sunday’s Room 2,nights in Pacha and then the mighty Glitterbox. This is where he fell in deep for Disco, which is just another house genre really but has loads of vocals, it make you smile, happy music for happy people.
 

As to actually getting onto Dj’ing, PMD hasn’t been doing it for long at all really. He has always dabbled a bit through the years playing on decks in house parties etc. After purchasing his first controller in 2016 and investing in some top quality disco tunes, all PMD needed to do was learn how to play. He self-taught using youtube videos but refined his DJ skills after being mentored by the one and only Greg P.
 

PMD’s first gig was a garden party in 2017 and had initially arranged to play for a short period but ended up playing for 8hrs and stumbled out of the place lol. His first gig in a club was same year, in The Rainbow Rooms which he will be for ever grateful to Jason P for. After that PMD played disco regularly at private gigs and lives on Facebook. This caught the attention Greg P DJ/ Promoter of 100% OLD SKOOL who then gave him the opportunity to become part of the 100% team playing his style of Disco like no one else.
